Life is really Unpredictable

I wonder if its only with me, when my ship is sailing smooth suddenly the winds start blowing in opposite direction. I change my course and when I am just able to adapt the change, the direction of wind changes again.

At times I am able to adjust to change, but it becomes really difficult to change when something you never expected comes your way. We often get accustomed to someone/ something so much that we can never think of losing them and when suddenly they threaten to go away, our existence becomes a doubt...........

TOO BUSY FOR ANYTHING

Once there was a time when I wanted to be as busy as I could be, with no time for any crap thoughts. And now when I've actually achieved that I am longing for some free time.
Human wants are endless. Nothing can ever satisfy us for long!!
Well what makes me busy is my job, my 'first' job. After two months I got time to pursue my favorite past time of writing my blog. Not just this, what makes me more uneasy is that I am unable to spare time for the people whom I gave my whole time before job. Its difficult to make these ends meet but I think I'll work out this problem too.
With god's help and their help. I am sure to find out solution to this problem too...

What to look for?

I' am sad when I should be smiling & ungrateful when I should be thanking. Why does it happen that all your achievements become a waste when someone's not beside you.
Don't know whether I should be thankful to God for giving me what I always prayed for or mourn over the fact that there's still a lacking. I' am tired of fighting with myself, my thoughts, my conscious & my people. Really tired!

Its so difficult to believe in time & destiny. Will everything be alright?

Power of Words

Well I heard of a beautiful story which might change your attitude towards life, just like it did mine. This story talks about a group of frogs who once raced to reach the mountain top. Many people gathered to witness this strange & 'impossible to win' race, for everyone believed that this task is too difficult for those small frogs to achieve.
As the race began, people started cheering and claiming "They can't make it" "Its far too difficult for them". Those tiny frogs started collapsing one by one. However despite all this, some frogs managed to sustain themselves in the race. The crowd continued to yell "Not a chance they will succeed". And all but one frog gave up.
He just dindn't continue in the race but he even reached the mountain top. When asked how did this tiny creature managed the tough ask, it was found that he was DEAF.
Never listen to other people's tendencies to be negative or pessimistic ..........because they take your most wonderful dreams & wishes away from you, the ones you have in your heart.
Always think of the power words have. Because everything you hear & read will affect your actions. So always be positive & turn DEAF when people tell you that  you cannot fulfill your dreams. Always think "I can do this"

Life is the way "YOU" take it

Have the courage to speak, wisdom to listen & clarity to express, if life isn't the way you want it to be.If you don't like it, change it. If you can't change it then accept it without growling.
Either have the persistence to achieve or power to accept. If there's a darker side , it has a brighter side too. Stop staring at the darker side and you'll see a silver lining in black clouds......After all life is 10% how you make it and 90% how you take it.

A beautiful poem

Hey I caught hold of a really good poem:

Never say I love you
If you really don't care
Never talk about feelings
If they aren't really there
Never hold my hand
If you gonna break my heart
Never say you are going to
If you don't plan to start
Never look into my eyes
If all you do is lie
Never say Hi
if you really mean goodbye
If you really mean forever
Then say you will try
Never say forever
Cuz forever makes me cry.

Handle with Care

Life may not always replace everything we have lost. This post goes out for all those people who in anger or ego or any other unthoughtful act may overlook the importance of what we have.
As always, I would but highlight the fact that relations are very precious and irreplaceable. They are the true treasures of life. It takes years to find a person or build a relationship wherein you can speak your heart out, share the biggest embarrassment of life, understand the unsaid words but it takes a few seconds to end it up all.

A true relation is always unconditional and immortal. Be careful while handling them.....Remember avoidance of one minute of anger may save you from a hundred days of sorrow.

After all if you cannot handle someone at their worst then you don't deserve them at their best.

THINK before you ACT

LIFETIME relationships teach you lifetime lessons, things you must build upon in order to have a solid emotional foundation. Your job is to accept the lesson, love the person and put what you have learned in all other relationships and areas of your life. This reminds me of a recent event where I learnt a biggest lesson ever. Unintentionally in pursuit of comforting a distressed friend, I broke the trust of another. Life posed in front of me such a dilemma where it was difficult for me to differentiate between right and wrong. And now when I'am out of that situation I look back and realise that trust once lost is irrepairable. You may try as hard as you want but something's in life can't be the same ever.

Moonlit Night

There is a friend of mine who's favourite pastime is looking at the moon for hours together. She has taught me to converse with the sky, the air, the moon and nature.

Now I realise how comforting it is to look at moon. Though it keeps burning yet it looks so calm and peaceful. The gentle breeze, blue light, dark night, twinkling stars......everything is just too perfect and soothing.

Its like a dream come true. As if a child with a cotton dipped in white color paints the navy blue base evoking a millions dreams within us.

Afraid of an Interview?

'Brain messed, Eyes hooked, Hands frozen, Body shivering' ... Ever witnessed these symptoms on hearing that you have to appear for an interview.
Well this post is for all those who have their digestion choked off whenever they have an interview. They may try as hard as possible but can never escape it. Today, interview is an integral part of everything, may it be academics, job, politics or even the glamour world. We have to face it one day.
The key to all fears lies in your ability to converse with strangers. If you take it as an interview then you'll be terrified but if you convince yourself that it is no more than a conversation with a stranger you'll overcome all fears and face it boldly.
There may be even a panel of interviewers or you might even stumble once but don't worry just go on because you never know when you'll leave a mark on them.
You might screw up once, twice but you'll surely hit the target hard the next time.

Childhood Revisited

Yesterday I had some guests at my place. Their 3 year old daughter Khushi also accompanied them. You must be wandering why am I telling you all this.... Just that the time I spent with her was truly memorable.
She took pleasure in those small delights of life, which we overlook so often. The sight of a toffee in my hand, left a twinkle in her eyes which probably we would have, had we bought a limousine. Her every move was full of fun, happiness and pleasure. She really taught me the value of life.
Life is really too small to regret or mourn. Who know's what we have today may not be tomorrow. So live every moment of it. I know there are enough reasons to make us sad, but don't forget there are also, enough reasons to be happy about. It's on you to decide which reason you value the most. Let go off your past burdens, stop regretting on your mistakes, stop lamenting for people who ditched you..... remember you cannot change your past but you can truly make your future.
If you feel, a problem is too big for you to handle then leave it on god. Bible says, if god has made us, he would surely care for us too.
A famous writer once said : Only three words can sum up everything I've learnt from life "It goes on."
So you must also go on....happily...

A friend or a family?

Once I had to walk on a rope bridge. It was very high, I was scared. I saw my frnd on the other side and called him out for help but there was no reply . I somehow managed and crossed the bridge. There I was shocked to see my friend holding the end of the broken bridge... sometimes we think why our frnd is quite when we call for help . He may not help you in crossing the bridge but he might be holding the broken bridge for you ... just trust your friends in every situations, because they are your real asset.

We have heard often that friends should not be banked upon, but even now do you believe it? I guess they are our second family...

Not happy? Check out how can you curb this unending search for happiness...

How many times do we 'force' ourselves to be happy? We go out, play, sing, watch television and what not.... but rarely do we strike the right chord.
Yesterday's newspaper carried an article which really left a lasting impression on me. It talked of the different ways in which the Buddhist monks achieve peace of mind. When they sit for meditation, they sit for sitting & not for enlightenment. When they walk, they walk just for walking & not to arrive. No doubt in our culture, this may not bring us peace or happiness but a few gestures may heal our pain just in seconds. Did you ever try reconnecting to your own self, to your own soul?
If alone, try talking to yourself, recollect all that brings smile to your face, all that you want from life. Even a minute spent with yourself would give exciting results. This would leave you all the more motivated & happy. This may seem strange at first, but it would surely give that peace of mind which we may be looking for.

Are small misunderstandings necessary for better understandings??

Once a friend of mine explained me that in a relationship, which could be that of friends, siblings, boyfriend- girlfriend or any for that matter, the base is stable & constant. Just like a business cycle there may be peaks (when it is at its best) or troughs (when we have fight). BUT the base remains CONSTANT.

Many of us might agree to what she said but I don't think this theory always hold. Yes for sometime the base may remain intact but with incessant & repeated troughs it may even shatter. After all if you don't water a plant regularly it is bound to die. Just the same way if you don't nurture the plant of friendship, it is bound to break. The other person may understand you once, twice, thrice.... but one day his patience would end. So turn around before the treasured friend leaves you.
You must have heard " Relations are like a Book. It takes few seconds to burn but it takes years to write. So preserve them and let them never end."

Silence of Desire

Ever wondered the way silence turns a heated argument into a worthy discussion, the way it completes the relation of a mother & an infant. When heard carefully, silence has its own words, its own sound & its own impact.
Often my friends ask, why do we meet when you have nothing to talk about. How I wish they could understand unfathomable feelings, silence conveys. Not always can you explain or pen down what you feel. But somehow we always want our friends to understand us.
I think the relationship in which silence can be heard loud & clear is the most wonderful & treasured one. If we have even one such friend in our lives, its the best blessings God can give. Isn't it true?

Do we really know ourselves????

We often come across people claiming to know us more than anyone else does. But do you think they are right in saying so?
I feel most of our lives are spent understanding ourselves, our aims, our wishes, our outlook towards life etc. etc. & when we ourselves can't understand then how can others do? Every time I debate, I let my thoughts spill I get a deeper insight into myself.
Sometimes we may act so responsibly like a roof protects a house & on other occasions we may be as dumb as a kid. At times we may be so angry & short tempered & at other times we may beat everyone in the test of patience.
Do you really agree that we may describe/ cast ourselves into words bounded by their meanings like responsible, caring, sincere, hardworking, impatient, honest...I think they are tooooo small a description for a valueable person like us!!!!
